Sarita Choudhury teases that the second season of “And Just Like That…” is “very different from Season 1” and “funnier,” and expresses excitement over the return of John Corbett’s character Aidan Shaw.

The second season of the HBO show “And Just Like That…” is on its way, and Sarita Choudhury, who plays realtor Seema Patel, has teased that it will be different from the first season. She revealed to Page Six that the upcoming season, which is almost finished filming, is “funnier” than the first. Although she remained tight-lipped about any other details, she did echo the excitement of fans over the return of Carrie Bradshaw’s first fiancé, Aidan Shaw, played by John Corbett.

Choudhury joined the “Sex and the City” reboot for the first season and shares the excitement of Corbett’s return with fans. Despite never having met him before, she described him as a “great guy” and praised his acting skills. Corbett originally had fans’ hopes up for a return in Season 1 when he told Page Six he would be appearing in the show. However, it turned out to be a prank, which left executive producer Michael Patrick King and show writer Julie Rottenberg irritated.

Despite this, all has been forgiven, and Corbett has featured in scenes with Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, and even shared on-screen smooches with her. The characters of Carrie and Aidan have a rich history in the original show, which was later revisited in the second “Sex and the City” movie released in 2010.

Choudhury also revealed at the Writers Guild Awards on Sunday night that she doesn’t receive as many free clothes as people would think. She wears what she loves and appreciates the opportunity to have some designer pieces in her wardrobe.

The awards show was graced by other celebrities, including Steven Spielberg, Amy Schumer, Donald Glover, and Susan Lucci. While fans eagerly await the release of the second season, it remains to be seen whether it lives up to the hype created by Corbett’s return.
