Ayo Edebiri Rescues Rhea Seehorn from Beauty Mishap at Emmys 2024 Red Carpet

She’s the real deal, a girl’s girl through and through. Ayo Edebiri, the star of “Bear,” came to Rhea Seehorn’s rescue in a beauty crisis just before the Emmys 2024 red carpet event.

A fan clip posted on social media on Monday showed Edebiri pulling Seehorn aside. She was fixing her under-eye makeup. It was a quick fix, and Edebiri gave a nod of approval to the “Better Call Saul” star.

Seehorn was dressed in a green, embroidered floor-length gown with an updo. She seemed to tell Edebiri, “Thank you so much,” before walking away. Both of them were nominated at the Emmys that year.

Seehorn, 51, was in the running for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She was recognized for her work in the acclaimed AMC series. Meanwhile, Edebiri took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in a hit Hulu show.

Edebiri, also known as the “Abbott Elementary” star, has been racking up awards this season. She was in high spirits as she walked the carpet in a custom black leather Louis Vuitton dress. The dress was ankle-length, and Edebiri told E! News that it was a 3D-molded creation.

She accessorized the dress with a diamond tennis necklace, studs, and black strappy heels. “We’re snatched and we’re loving it,” the 28-year-old Boston native told the outlet.

Edebiri also won her first Golden Globe the previous week. She was awarded Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Season 2 of “The Bear,” which also stars Jeremy Allen White.

Her acceptance speech was well-received, as she humbly thanked her “agent and managers’ assistants” for responding to her emails. “Y’all are real ones! Thank you for answering my crazy, crazy emails,” she gushed.

She also won another trophy at the Critics Choice Awards held on Sunday. During her acceptance speech, Edebiri continued her running joke that she was from Ireland.
