Azealia Banks Advises Taylor Swift to Avoid Controversial Musician Amid Rumored Romance.

Rapper Azealia Banks has advised Taylor Swift to break up with British musician Matty Healy, warning that he may give her “scabies”. Banks encouraged the singer to look for a “much cooler” partner, suggesting James Mercer from The Shins. The comments came after Healy defended his appearance on the Adam Friedland Show, in which the hosts made racist and sexist remarks about rapper Ice Spice.

Azealia Banks advised Taylor Swift to dump rumored boyfriend Matty Healy, calling him controversial and suggesting she date James Mercer from The Shins instead.

Rapper Azealia Banks took to her Instagram Story to urge Taylor Swift to break up with her new rumoured boyfriend Matty Healy or risk getting “scabies.” Banks suggested that Swift should look for a “much cooler” and less problematic partner, listing James Mercer from The Shins as an option. She also mentioned that Healy was not on the same level of “powerful p–s” as Swift had worked hard to build.

Banks’ rant was triggered by Healy’s controversial appearance on the “Adam Friedland Show” podcast, in which the host made derogatory remarks about rapper Ice Spice. Healy laughed as the host, Adam Friedland, and co-host Nick Mullen called Ice Spice an “Inuit Spice Girl” and “chubby Chinese lady” while mocking Chinese and Hawaiian accents. Healy later defended his appearance and dismissed the offence caused, telling The New Yorker that anyone offended is “deluded.”

Banks reposted a screenshot of Healy’s remarks, calling him a “small white opinionated male” who makes “crappy ass mid-2000s indie” music. She also called him a “lame poser” for defending the racist remarks. Banks added that black women are “more coveted in today’s industry because there is BIG BUSINESS in female rap.”

Healy has also been making headlines for his new romance with Taylor Swift. The rumoured couple was first linked after Healy was spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour concert earlier this month. They were then seen kissing at Casa Cipriani in New York City. Although they have not directly addressed the rumours, Healy hinted at the speculation during The 1975’s concert over the weekend.
