ABC announced the senior citizen spinoff during their upfronts last month. The unscripted series aims to find “one hopeless romantic” the chance to find love. It features a group of women with “a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities.” The synopsis describes, “In the end, will our…man turn the page to start a new chapter with the woman of his dreams?”
Matt’s mom Patty is reportedly speaking with producers to become a contestant on the show. However, it is not known who the “Golden Bachelor” is or who the contestants competing for his love are.
