Bobbie Jean, Sister of Nick & Aaron Carter, Dies at 41

The Carter family is mourning yet another loss. Nick and Aaron Carter’s sister, Bobbie Jean Carter, has passed away.

She was just 41 years old. The news was confirmed by TMZ.

Jane Carter, Bobbie Jean’s mother, shared a statement about her daughter’s sudden passing. She expressed shock and asked for privacy to process the devastating news.

“I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean,” she said. This is the third time she has had to face such a tragedy, with the deaths of Aaron in 2022 and Leslie Carter in 2012.

Jane plans to release a fuller statement when she can think clearly. For now, she requests to be left to grieve privately.

She added a poignant note about the pain of a child losing a parent. “However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater,” she said.

Bobbie Jean Carter has died at 41. Her mother, Jane, released a statement about her sudden passing.

Jane asked for prayers for her 8-year-old granddaughter Bella. Bella has now lost both her parents.

Details about Bobbie Jean’s death are scarce. TMZ reported that she died in Florida on a Saturday.

Bobbie Jean had a history of struggling with substance abuse and addiction. She was arrested for retail theft and drug possession in June after allegedly attempting to steal $55 worth of crafts from a Hobby Lobby in Brooksfield, Florida.

The Carter family has been plagued by substance abuse and addiction. In 2012, Bobbie Jean’s sister Leslie died from an overdose at 25.

Bobbie Jean was apprehended by store employees who called the police. She allegedly tossed a powder-blue container under a desk in a panic.

A field test confirmed the container had grams of fentanyl inside. This is the third tragedy for the Carter family, who have been heavily impacted by substance abuse.

In 2012, Bobbie Jean’s younger sister, Leslie, died of an overdose at 25. Then, in 2022, Aaron was found dead in his bathtub in his Lancaster, California, home.

The “I Want Candy” singer died from drowning and the effects of difluoroethane, a flammable gas, and alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax. He was 34.
