Casino resorts are some of the most interesting and fun establishments. You can choose from more famous locations such as Las Vegas to those that are more exotic such as Paradise Island and Nassau in the Bahamas.

These are the places every traveler and curious soul yearns to go to at least once in their lives. And depending on their travel plans, they might just make it there. Others are simply satisfied finding the best online casinos at https://www.pacasino.com/. Still, casino resort visitors almost always leave with a feeling of awe at all the glitz and glamor these establishments have to offer. It’s an experience of a lifetime.

However, not much is known about the owners of these resorts. For the most part, they stay hidden behind the scenes, occasionally enjoying the games their casino has to offer. Still, not all have managed (or wanted to) avoid the public eye.

Below, we’ll list a few celebrities who are (or were) proud owners of their own casino resorts!

#1: Donald Trump

The first celebrity on our list is also the most unexpected one. Former US president and businessman Donald Trump was the owner of the Trump Entertainment Resorts in Las Vegas and more. With over 5 locations in California, Indiana, and Atlantic City, Trump clearly put a lot of effort into these establishments.

More than that, though, Donald Trump’s career mainly deals with real estate. His father was a real estate developer, and Trump managed to continue the family business and even bring success to the company’s name. Today, he owns many different financial buildings, hotels, and casinos.

Interestingly, Trump has also appeared in other media. Fans of the 1992 comedy Home Alone 2: Lost in New York will recognize the former US president’s cameo in the movie.

#2: Steve Wynn

Some may easily recognize Steve Wynn by his nickname as the king of Las Vegas. Those who are into gambling and casinos couldn’t have avoided hearing his name, as Wynn is the owner of the most famous casino in the world, the Bellagio. Bellagio opened in 1998 and has since then been one of the main attractions in Las Vegas.

This resort, inspired by the villages of Europe, also showcases an impressive dancing water fountain. To make the experience even more amazing, the fountain synchronizes with whatever music is playing from the speakers. Overall, it’s truly a sight to behold.

However, Steve Wynn’s impact reaches far beyond the Bellagio resort. Wynn also played a pivotal role in the expansion and popularization of the Las Vegas strip. He opened several notable hotels and resorts that make Las Vegas the gambler’s paradise it is today.

Knowing all this, we think Steve Wynn’s nickname is well-deserved!

#3: Stanley Ho

Stanley Ho was a businessman and an important figure in bringing gambling to Macau. More than that, Ho was also a philanthropist. Unbelievably, Stanley Ho contributed to China’s Poly Art Museum, an organization that aims to protect Chinese cultural relics.

He started his businessman career in 1961 when he won the public tender for Macau’s gambling license along with his two business partners. After that, he worked on the promotion of tourism and the development of infrastructure in Macau.

Stanley Ho would then go on to open several casino hotels and resorts, with the flagship Lisboa Casino Hotel becoming one of the most successful ones. After his success in this area, Ho continued to invest in Macau and the development of this region of China.

He owned many other businesses including tourism, real estate, banking, and air transport companies. It’s safe to say Stanley Ho was one of the most prominent figures in Macau’s cultural and touristic development.
