Chaz Dean Claims Ramona Singer’s Boyfriend Bill Luby Had Drunken Night Out in NYC

“Real Housewives of New York City” alum Ramona Singer’s boyfriend, William “Bill” Luby, was reportedly “s–tfaced,” “loud,” and “obnoxious” during a recent night out at a New York City restaurant. This account comes from celebrity hairstylist Chaz Dean, who happened to be dining separately at the same restaurant, Nonna Beppa.

Dean described Luby as “effing intense.” He shared his experience on Monday’s episode of the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast. He recalled, “We walked in, and they were at the bar. It was, like, frat-ness.”

Dean painted a picture of a rowdy group. “They were drunk and obnoxious before they even sat down. When we realized they were there for dinner, it was just loud and insane. It was so inappropriate, and it was so obnoxious for all of the patrons at the restaurant. Even the staff kept looking, like, ‘Oh my God, what do we do with this?’”

The financier was reportedly “FaceTiming Ramona at the time,” oblivious to the disturbance he and his friends were causing. Dean, 49, noted that Luby and his pals were “in their own world.”

The story took a turn when one of Luby’s friends tried to hit on one of the women at Dean’s table. The hair guru recalled, “He tried to get [one of their] girls to come back to his hotel.” However, Dean clarified that Luby did not hit on anyone; “he was just so s–tfaced.”

Dean further shared that Luby brought Ramona on FaceTime to their table. He felt that this was Luby trying to wingman for his friend. “It was that sort of element,” he said. He compared their behavior to “20-year-old college kids,” which he felt was “not fair” to those who were “trying to have a nice, quiet dinner.”

Luby and Singer, 67, have been quietly dating since Labor Day 2022. They spent the last summer “making out all over Southampton.” A source told Page Six in July 2023 that the former Bravolebrity was “a new woman” and “totally in love” with the New Jersey native.

Reps for the couple did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment regarding Dean’s claims.
