Dorit Kemsley forgives Erika Jayne for making a dig at her marriage during BravoCon 2022 and they reconcile, with Dorit saying they’ve had a friendship for seven years and joking that the conflict and resolution will play out on “RHOBH” Season 13.
Reality TV star Dorit Kemsley has revealed that she has forgiven fellow Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Erika Jayne for making a comment about her marriage. Speaking exclusively to Page Six at her recent charity gala, Kemsley explained that she wasn’t ready to give up on her seven-year friendship with Jayne, admitting that she and her husband PK Kemsley were both unhappy with the “Pretty Mess” singer’s comments at BravoCon 2022, where she suggested that the Kemsleys would be the next couple on the show to split. According to Kemsley, Jayne was “apologetic” for her comments and the pair have since reconciled.
Kemsley went on to explain how she and PK have maintained a successful marriage, saying that for them, communication, transparency, trust, and honesty have been key. The couple, who share two children, have been married for eight years and Kemsley suggested that “laughing and having fun together” has helped to keep them “together and close.”
Jayne’s comments at BravoCon caused controversy among fans of the show, and PK responded with a quip on social media, suggesting that Jayne should be cautious given her own recent relationship issues with her estranged husband, Tom Girardi. Jayne later claimed that her comments were intended as a joke but Kemsley acknowledged that the situation had been blown out of proportion.
The recent charity gala was arranged to raise funds for veterans, the homeless, foster youth, and low-income persons in Los Angeles to receive quality dental care. Several celebrities attended the event, including Paula Abdul, who introduced the silent auction and special guest performer Taylor Dayne. Fellow Real Housewives stars Crystal Kung Minkoff, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and newbie Annemarie Wiley all came out to support Kemsley. The event was held in preparation for the thirteenth season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with cameras on hand to capture all the action.
