Janet Jackson and designer Christian Siriano went out dancing in New York City after her sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. The pop icon has previously worn Siriano’s designs during the “club portion” of her tour and he is said to be working on new looks for her.

Janet Jackson went dancing at New York City’s Mulberry with designer Christian Siriano and bartender Ty Sunderland, staying until after 5am and enjoying shots made by Siriano.

Janet Jackson took a break from her busy schedule and wound down with designer friend Christian Siriano after completing two sold-out shows of her “Together Again” tour at Madison Square Garden. According to a source, the pop icon approached Siriano for a night out and requested his suggestion regarding where she could go dancing.

Siriano promptly contacted his DJ pal, Ty Sunderland, who turned up at Nolita’s newest club, the Mulberry, at around 1:30 am, to spin for Jackson and her dancers. The group danced away until after 5 am, with Siriano even seizing the opportunity to showcase his bartending skills.

Siriano and Jackson met for the first time at the designer’s New York Fashion Week show last September, and this is not the first time the two have been on an escapade around New York. Recently, Siriano was spotted at Jackson’s sold-out show at MSG, and he also happens to have designed the outfits for the “club portion” of Jackson’s show.

We hear that Siriano is currently busy working on new looks for the “Control” singer, which we can’t wait to see. It seems that the two have an excellent friendship, with a foundation built on mutual admiration, talent, and creative passion.
