Jeff Dye Criticizes Ex Kristin Cavallari for Revealing His DUI

Jeff Dye, the comedian, is not too happy with his ex, Kristin Cavallari. He’s accusing her of airing his dirty laundry for the sake of online attention. He’s particularly upset about her sharing his DUI arrest story.

“Damn her. It’s not her story to tell,” he vented on Marco DelVecchio’s “Smoochie Town” podcast. He was pretty heated during the conversation.

He also mentioned some of their shared experiences. “I had experiences with you that I didn’t go tell everyone. Those were also my experiences when you were messing around with all these other people,” he said.

Kristin Cavallari, known for her role in “The Hills,” had shared a story on her podcast. She talked about a time when an ex-boyfriend got arrested for a hit-and-run during their meetup. She didn’t name names, but sources later confirmed she was talking about Dye.

Dye was pretty candid about how the whole thing made him feel. “I don’t think people realize how horrific that made me feel,” he said. He admitted he was still in love with her at the time and had hopes of getting back together. Now, though? Not a chance.

Dye, who identifies as a high-functioning alcoholic, has been sober for 36 days. He went into detail about the events leading up to his arrest.

The day started with him oversleeping and missing his alarm. “I jumped in the cold shower. I put a hat on. I had just gotten in my Tesla, and Teslas are very fast, and so I just lost control of my car and crashed it,” he recalled.

He went on to explain that this happened nine hours after he went to sleep. He wasn’t drunk or leaving a bar. However, he did worry that there might still be some alcohol in his system.

Dye, now 40, said his first instinct was to run from the car and retrieve it later. Unfortunately, the police caught up with him at the coffee shop where he was meeting Cavallari. They arrested him right in front of her.

“It was literally the worst day of my life,” he said. “The whole thing was just a mess.”

Cavallari, 36, and Dye were first linked in October 2020. They broke up halfway through 2022. Since then, Cavallari has had some luck on the dating app Raya. Dye, on the other hand, was briefly linked to Clare Crawley.
