Jennifer Pedanti’s boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, was involved in a controversial lawsuit for elder financial abuse, which was ultimately dismissed. Boyajian had agreed to purchase a residential property from an 82-year-old man for $7.9 million but failed to make the payment by the deadline, causing disputes over a lien placed on the property. Despite the lawsuit being dismissed, Boyajian filed his own lawsuit against the elderly man for fraud.

Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer Jennifer Pedanti’s boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, was involved in a lawsuit accusing him of elder financial abuse, but the case was dismissed earlier this year.

New Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Jennifer Pedanti’s boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, found himself at the center of a scandalous lawsuit earlier this year. The lawsuit, filed by an 82-year-old man named Gordon Barienbrock, accused Boyajian of elder financial abuse. According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Boyajian had entered into a real estate deal with Barienbrock in 2018, agreeing to purchase a 16.1-acre residential parcel for $7.9 million. However, Boyajian failed to make the payment by the December 2020 deadline, leading to a legal dispute.

Boyajian’s lawyer, Mike Caspino, claimed that once Boyajian found out about Barienbrock’s federal indictment, he wanted to sever ties with him immediately. However, Barienbrock responded by suing Boyajian instead. The lawsuit alleged that Boyajian had refused to remove a lien on the property, which prevented Barienbrock from selling it and settling his debts. Barienbrock argued that Boyajian’s actions constituted elder financial abuse, resulting in damages that exceeded $1 million.

In response to the lawsuit, Boyajian denied any wrongdoing and stated that he was not obligated to perform his obligations under the agreement due to certain conditions not being met, such as the failure to obtain necessary building entitlements from the County of Orange. Ultimately, Barienbrock dismissed the lawsuit in March before it went to trial. Boyajian, on the other hand, filed a separate lawsuit against Barienbrock, alleging fraud in the deal and describing him as a notorious real estate swindler.

The controversy surrounding Ryan Boyajian has become a major storyline on the current season of Real Housewives of Orange County. Cast member Tamra Judge has questioned the timing of Jennifer Pedanti’s relationship with Boyajian in relation to her ongoing divorce. While these legal troubles may have caused some turmoil for Boyajian and Pedanti, it remains to be seen how it will unfold on the reality show.
