Jill Zarin addresses the cancelled “Real Housewives of New York: Legacy” show & says she doesn’t miss being in front of the camera.

Jill Zarin has spoken about the collapse of Real Housewives of New York: Legacy, saying that it “just wasn’t meant to happen”. The show, which was set to feature the original cast including Zarin, was abandoned by producers and Bravo’s rebranding plans blocked. Zarin has now moved to Florida and is working on her candle business with her daughter.

Jill Zarin denies any involvement in the collapse of the “Real Housewives of New York: Legacy” show and says she does not miss being in front of the camera.

Jill Zarin, former star of the hit reality show, “Real Housewives of New York,” remains unfazed by the collapse of the show’s proposed reboot entitled “Legacy.” In an exclusive interview with Page Six at the premiere of “Book Club: The Next Chapter,” Zarin revealed that “Legacy” did not materialize because the producers decided against it. She further said that she did not have any input in the cancellation of the show, and she does not know the real reason for it.

Page Six had previously reported that the series, which was supposed to feature some of the original cast, collapsed due to lowball offers to the talent and the network’s unwillingness to guarantee enough appearances per season. Bravo Networks, however, announced the reboot of the show with a new, ethnically diverse cast that includes personalities like Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva, and former J. Crew honcho, Jenna Lyons.

Zarin remains unfazed, despite being labeled as “thirsty” by the show’s executive producer, Andy Cohen. She said that she does not miss being in front of the camera, emphasizing that it’s a chapter of her life that’s closed and that she has opened up new ones. She has since moved to Florida and is now concentrating on her business that includes a line of “crystal manifestation candles” created in collaboration with her daughter Ally.

Although there are rumors that former colleagues Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley are going on tour together, Zarin said that it does not make sense for her, as it is not the way she earns a living. She emphasized that her brand is where she earns her living, and that is where her focus lies.

Zarin’s journey from the “Real Housewives of New York” show to her successful business exemplifies how one can leverage reality TV fame to start a sustainable business. She remains positive, unfazed, and focused on the future, setting an example for others trying to make the most of their reality TV fame.
