Country singer Jimmie Allen is facing allegations of sexual abuse and assault from a former manager, referred to as “Jane Doe” in court documents. The lawsuit was filed on Thursday in Tennessee and claims that Allen repeatedly subjected her to abuse and harassment over a period of 18 months while she was employed by his management company.

According to the documents obtained by Page Six, the woman details that Allen allegedly raped her during a work trip to Los Angeles in March 2021, while he was a guest judge on “American Idol”. Jane Doe claims that she “lost consciousness and awoke naked in her hotel room several hours later” with Allen allegedly next to her.

She further claimed that he “forced his fingers into her vagina while she tried to yank his hand away” moments after they left the “Ellen DeGeneres” show in May 2021 and got into a car. Allen denied all allegations and confessed to having a consensual relationship with her for almost two years.

The singer is being sued by Jane Doe for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking, and emotional distress. She is also suing Wide Open Music and its founder, Ash Bowers, for their participation in a venture engaged in sex trafficking and gross negligence among other counts.

This news follows Allen’s public separation from his pregnant wife, Alexis Gale, which he announced on Instagram on April 21st.
