Julia Haart & Jill Zarin Co-Star in Failure To Launch Inspired Reality Show

Well, well, well. There’s some buzz in the reality TV world. Two well-known stars are making moves.

We’re talking about Julia Haart, who you might know from her Netflix hit “My Unorthodox Life.” And then there’s Jill Zarin, a Bravo star who’s larger than life. They’re teaming up for a new show.

Now, here’s the kicker. This new show isn’t going to be on Netflix or Bravo. Nope, it’s headed to a “major network,” or so we’re told. And the concept? It’s a “reality version” of the 2006 Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker movie “Failure to Launch.”

If you’re not familiar with that flick, let me paint a picture. McConaughey’s character is a 35-year-old sailboat salesman. He’s got a Porsche, dates hot women, and still lives with his parents. That is, until they hire SJP’s character, Paula, to get him to fall in love with her and move out.

So, in this new reality show, we’re guessing Haart and Zarin will be the real-life Paulas. Their mission? To help overgrown adolescents move out of their family homes.

Neither woman has commented on the show yet. But they’ve both posted on social media, linking to a Google Form. The form asks, “Do you or someone you know need help kickstarting their life?” It mentions moving out, getting a job, learning to date, and promises help from celebrity hosts and experts. Filming starts “early 2024.”

Haart’s been in the public eye since leaving an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community 10 years ago. She climbed the fashion industry ladder and was named CEO of Elite World Group in 2019. But things got messy when she filed for divorce in 2022 and lost her job the same day. Court battles have been ongoing since then.

As for Zarin, she hasn’t been on “The Real Housewives of New York City” since 2011. But she’s remained a big deal for “Housewives” fans. Last year, she walked away from a reunion after demanding pay parity among the stars.

Reps didn’t comment. So, we’ll just have to wait and see how this all pans out.
