Kandi Burruss’ Atlanta restaurant scores ‘A’ health rating after previously failing.

Kandi Burruss and her husband’s Atlanta restaurant, Old Lady Gang, has received an ‘A’ health score of 100 out of 100, two years after receiving a less-than-stellar score. The restaurant was previously given a ‘C’ rating with a score of 75 due to issues such as sliced cheese, raw salmon, and sliced tomatoes being kept at an incorrect temperature, and working containers of food not being identified by common name. Burruss and Tucker’s other restaurant, Blaze, also recently received an ‘A’ rating after failing an inspection and temporarily shutting down.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss’ Atlanta restaurants, Old Lady Gang and Blaze, have both been awarded an ‘A’ health rating after previously receiving low scores during past inspections.

Kandi Burruss, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta, has recently received a ‘A’ health rating for her restaurant, Old Lady Gang. The restaurant had previously been hit with a less-than-stellar score, but it seems like Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, have managed to turn things around. Records show that Old Lady Gang was inspected by the Georgia Department of Public Health on March 1 and was awarded a perfect score of 100 out of 100.

This news comes after the restaurant received a ‘C’ rating with a score of 75 during the last inspection in July 2021. The report noted several issues, such as sliced cheese, raw salmon, and sliced tomatoes being kept at a temperature above 41 degrees, and working containers of food not identified by common name. In addition, the main kitchen had no soap, and sliced cheese, raw hamburger, shrimp, chicken, and crab cake were not being stored at the proper temperature.

Burruss and Tucker’s other restaurant, Blaze, also recently received an ‘A’ rating two years after failing an inspection and having to temporarily shut down. The restaurant received a score of 91 out of 100 during the recent visit. However, the inspector did note some issues, such as employees prepping food without hair restraints and no soap in the employee hand washing sink on the cook line and in the bar.

It’s commendable that Burruss and Tucker took proactive steps to address the issues inspectors noted during their previous inspections. It shows their commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling in their restaurants. It’s important for restaurant owners to prioritize the health and safety of their customers, and these ‘A’ ratings demonstrate that Burruss and Tucker take this responsibility seriously.
