Although he appreciates the goodwill from fans, the Canadian actor revealed that he can also become irritable when hungry. However, he cemented his reputation as a good-natured individual when he interacted with fans and took selfies at the New York premiere of his upcoming film, John Wick: Chapter 4, in which he reprises his role as legendary hitman John Wick.
Despite being amazed at the franchise’s success, Reeves continues to take on the role of John Wick in the action movies, attributing his dedication to “love and passion” for movie action. He doesn’t mind experiencing occasional bruises along the journey, as these are enjoyable for him. However, Matthew Perry, who mentioned Reeves twice in his memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing released in November 2021, seems to be the only one in America not fond of the Matrix star. Perry questioned why Reeves was still alive while other talented actors like River Phoenix and Chris Farley died.
Reeves was first romantically associated with Alexandra Grant, a visual artist, in June 2019 when they attended the Saint Laurent fashion show together. Since then, the couple has remained private, and the most recent public appearance they have made was at the 2022 MOCA Gala.
