Kirstie Alley’s Children Host 3-Part Estate Sale of Unique Items a Year Posthumous

Kirstie Alley’s children have some news. They’re planning a three-part estate sale of her “fun and unique” belongings. This comes a year after her passing.

“Our mom collected so many fun and unique things over her incredible life,” said William “True” Parker, 30, and Lillie Parker, 29. They spilled the beans to People on Wednesday.

“We want to share some of them with others,” they said. The aim? To spread their mom’s love of decorating.

The sale’s got a fancy name: “Property from The Collection of The Late Kirstie Alley.” It’s being organized by Those Two Girls Estate Sales. The whole shebang will happen in three parts on the Live Auctioneers website.

The first part of the sale is set to run from Dec. 21 to Jan. 7. It’ll focus on Alley’s furniture and salvage pieces. These were gathered from her homes in Maine, California, and Florida.

You might recognize some of the items. Many pieces, like French antiques, clocks, mirrors, and fixtures, featured in her show “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life” in 2010. The show was filmed in her Los Angeles home.

The second part of the sale will run from Jan. 22 to Feb. 4. Up for grabs will be the “Cheers” star’s “favorite garden decor and salvage items.” These include Pre-columbian artifacts, Italian pottery, a Third Empire chandelier, statues, and a Victorian bird cage.

The final sale will let fans get their hands on her personal style belongings. Luxury items from Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin will be available from March 18 until April 7.

Alley was an interior designer before she turned to acting. Her style was described by her rep as “Kirstie’s personal ‘I don’t give a #@!*’ style.”

The late actress’ rep spilled more about the sale. “A lover of both style and function, she surrounded herself with items she loved no matter where they came from,” they said. This could be “the Pier One Warehouse” (Alley was a spokesperson for the home goods store) or “a boutique in France.”

“She was always looking for the next great piece and had no problem designing around them or waiting for inspiration to strike,” they added.

Alley passed away on Dec. 5, 2022, after a short battle with cancer. She was 71.

The Emmy winner’s two children announced her death on social media. They revealed her illness was only “recently discovered.”

“She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead,” the statement read.

“As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and granddaughter,” they added.

Alley was married to Parker Stevenson from 1983 to 1997. She shared True and Lillie with her ex-husband. Her first marriage was to Bob Alley from 1970 to 1977.
