Kris Jenner Revives KUWTK Season 1 Spiky Hairstyle, Puzzles Fans

Kris Jenner is giving us a blast from the past. She’s channeling her 2007 hair era in a teaser for Oreo’s Super Bowl 2024 ad.

The “Kardashians” momager posted a clip of the commercial to Instagram on Tuesday. But it wasn’t the cookies that caught fans’ attention.

Jenner appeared in the ad with a hairstyle reminiscent of her spiky pixie ‘do from Season 1 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” She’s seen holding an Oreo and saying, “How did we get here? Well, to answer that, I’d have to go back to the beginning.”

She twists the cookie open and looks inside at the filling. The matriarch chuckles as she says, “I better warn the kids.”

The momager’s new ‘do is reminiscent of her hairstyle in Season 1 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Fans had mixed emotions to the throwback look. One person wrote, “Fire that hair person.” Another wondered, “What is her hair doing?”

However, others caught onto the nostalgic look. “I love 2007 Kris ❤️😂,” one user commented. Another added, “Giving us KUWTK season 1 hair 😍😍😍😍.”

Per People, the ad pays homage to the 2007 era of reality TV’s first family, even down to the cookie placement. The arrangement of the sweet treats gives a wink to Khloé Kardashian’s go-to cookie-stacking style as seen on “KUWTK” and Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”

In December 2023, the mother of two revealed that she still has her cookies stacked in the same way during a tour of her luxe $17 million California mansion. Even sister Kourtney Kardashian’s brand Poosh dubbed the Good American co-founder, 39, the “queen of organization and the OG creator of the cookie jar stack.”

The Super Bowl ad — set to air during the second quarter of the big game on Feb. 11 — may also explain Kylie Jenner’s recent return to her “King Kylie” pink hair color. On Tuesday, the makeup mogul, 26, surprised fans as she debuted the transformation on Instagram, captioning the snap, “hiiiii remember me.”

Many of her followers welcomed the throwback look. One user gushed, “Yaaaas the 2014 era is unlocking.” Another added, “This cured my seasonal depression.”
