Meghan King recently sat down for an interview with Page Six. She had some strong words about her former “Real Housewives of Orange County” co-star, Vicki Gunvalson.
King was previously oblivious to the feud between Gunvalson and another former co-star, Tamra Judge. Upon learning about it, she expressed no surprise.
During a game of Page Six’s “Show the Shot or Take the Shot,” King questioned Gunvalson’s authenticity as a friend. She suggested that anyone who claims to be friends with Gunvalson is likely doing so for personal gain.
King described Gunvalson as difficult to like. She acknowledged that Gunvalson can be “fun” and “funny,” but she doesn’t believe a deeper relationship with her is desirable.
Gunvalson didn’t take King’s comments lightly. She retorted that she’s had “quality friends longer than [King] has been alive.”
Gunvalson also dismissed King as a potential friend. She referred to King as a “short-lived castmember on RHOC” and claimed King knew nothing about her life or long-term friendships.
King, on the other hand, spoke highly of Judge. She described Judge as an “incredible friend” and praised her authenticity.
Judge and Gunvalson have been publicly feuding for weeks. Their third friend in the “Tres Amigas” group, Shannon Beador, appears to have sided with Gunvalson.
The reason for the “Tres Amigas” breakup remains unclear. Judge told Entertainment Tonight that it happened after she “backed out” of the group’s nationwide comedy tour.
Judge admitted that the situation is complex and difficult to explain. Gunvalson, meanwhile, simply referred to Judge as a “traitor” on Twitter.
Judge plans to address the falling out in the upcoming season of “RHOC.” She maintains that she “didn’t do anything to either one of them.”
Bravo has yet to confirm the cast for Season 18 of “RHOC.” However, Judge tweeted that her first day of filming is Wednesday.
A source told Page Six that “RHOC” alum Alexis Bellino was given a “formal offer” to return. Beador is also reportedly returning, despite a recent DUI hit-and-run arrest.
