Pete Davidson Cancels NYC Show 2 Hours Prior Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

Pete Davidson, the comedian, had to cancel his comedy show just two hours before it was set to begin. This sudden change was due to his ongoing battle with mental health issues.

The Beacon Theatre in New York announced the last-minute cancellation on their Instagram Story. They cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason behind the abrupt change.

Davidson also had to postpone his show at the same venue, which was scheduled for December 23rd. Ticket Master’s website revealed that his shows leading into the new year are also on hold until January 6th.

If everything goes as planned, Davidson will be back on stage at the Premier Theater in Mashantucket, Ct. However, the reps for the “Saturday Night Live” alum didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The Beacon Theater used Instagram to inform fans about the cancellation of Davidson’s shows for Friday and Saturday night. The reason behind Davidson’s decision to skip his shows remains unclear. However, many fans took to social media to express their disappointment.

One fan tweeted about how they were about to leave for the show when they found out about the cancellation. Another fan expressed their excitement about seeing Davidson, only to be let down by the cancellation.

Davidson, also known as the “King of Staten Island” actor, made headlines last month. He shouted “f–k you” at an audience member who violated his no-phone policy during his stand-up routine. This incident lasted only a few seconds, but it reminded fans of the comedian’s ongoing struggle with mental health.

In June, Page Six reported that Davidson had checked himself into a rehab facility in Pennsylvania. He sought help for his struggles with borderline personality disorder and PTSD. According to a source, Davidson regularly goes to rehab for “tune ups” and to take a mental break.

A few weeks prior, Davidson had a heated exchange with the head of PETA. The animal rights group criticized him for buying a puppy from a pet store. Davidson responded with a foul-mouthed voicemail, telling the senior VP of cruelty investigations to “F–k you and suck my d–k.”

Davidson explained that he’s “severely allergic to dogs” and can’t adopt any breed. He added that he had to get a specific dog for his mom after her 2-year-old dog died. He urged PETA to do their research before creating news stories.

Over the summer, Davidson, the “Bupkis” star, was charged with reckless driving. He drove his car into a Beverly Hills, Calif., home while with his ex-girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders. Davidson, who was already in an 18-month diversion program for his first accident, crashed his car a second time while leaving his comedy show in Los Angeles in October.

Despite these issues, Davidson has been keeping busy with his girlfriend, Madelyn Cline. The two have been dating since October.
