Plastic surgeon Zachary “Dr. Zach” Okhah has sued multiple former patients over negative online reviews. One former patient, Leila Penn, was sued for over $30,000 after alleging in a RealSelf review that Okhah had “mutilated” her, and encouraging prospective patients to seek services elsewhere. Okhah voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice in December 2021.

Miami-based plastic surgeon Zachary “Dr. Zach” Okhah has sued multiple former patients for leaving negative reviews online. Among them was Leila Penn, who Okhah sued for over $30,000 in July 2021 after she accused him of “mutilating” her following a mommy makeover surgery. Okhah claimed the statements were defamatory and false, and accused Penn of dissuading prospective patients from his services by actively engaging with commenters on review websites. However, Okhah dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice in December 2021.
Kyla Neirenburg was also subject to a lawsuit by Okhah, who claimed defamation after she suggested in a Google review that happy patients of Okhah did not exist and that positive reviews on the site were fake and written by staff or friends. Okhah again voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice in December 2021.
Okhah’s former patient, Jacky Oh, visited him for a mommy makeover before her death. Oh, whose real name was Jacklyn Smith, died suddenly at the age of 33 in Miami. Okhah did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Oh was survived by her longtime partner, D.C. Young Fly, and their three children.
In a statement, BET expressed sorrow at the loss of Smith, who was known as Jacky Oh to fans of the show “Wild ‘N Out”. The statement described Smith as a talented and beloved member of the show’s cast and a tremendous mother to her children. The cause of Smith’s death is currently under investigation.
