Read Eric Kripke’s message to Toxic fans, who are fans of “The Boys.”

The Boys’ showrunner, Eric Kripke, is taking a page from Billy the Butcher’s playbook.

On September 7, he went on Twitter to talk about the sexist comments made about Erin Moriarty, the actress who plays Annie January, a.k.a. Starlight, in the Prime Video series. “Hi trolls!” was the title of a story he wrote about Erin’s comments. “First of all, this is the exact opposite of what the show’s message is. Two, you hurt real people whose feelings are sincere. Be considerate.”

As a last thought, Eric added, “If you can’t be nice, eat a bag of d—ks, f—k off to the sun, and stop watching #TheBoys because we don’t want you. #TheBoysTV.”

Meanwhile, Erin is keeping herself busy at work. In a picture taken on the set of season four of The Boys, both the actress and her co-star Jack Quaid gave the middle finger to the camera. She wrote in the photo’s caption on Sept. 7: “Back to my regularly scheduled programming of work bliss with my favorite hooooman(s),” “(If there were no [bird emojiinvolved, ]’s would it be @theboystv?)”

Erin recently said that fans’ comments about how she looks and how her character acts have made her sad. She said on Instagram on September 7: “I do feel silenced,” “I don’t feel like a person. I have no movement at all. I’ve poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this part (more than once), and I’ve GROWN UP in this character’s shoes (*emphasis on grown up; we develop and mature both mentally and physically).”

She thanked Instagram user @butcherscanary for calling out the sexist comments in a blog post, and she said it was ironic that she was treated this way since the performance was meant to criticize this kind of behavior. Erin said, “I’ve opened up a vein for this role, and this role (Annie) would speak out against trolling that hurts women.”

In response to her words, many of the actors in The Boys, like Jack, praised Erin for being brave. “Love you Erin,” he wrote. “All of us are here to help. You are a wonderful and talented force of nature, and I feel very lucky to have met you. Stay as bright as you are. We will take care of the trolls. We’ll look out for you.”

Now, you can watch the first three seasons of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video.
