Savannah Chrisley and country singer Nate Smith ended their relationship due to Savannah’s busy schedule raising her brother and niece, with Savannah admitting it was the “right person, terrible timing.”

Former reality TV star Savannah Chrisley and country singer Nate Smith have reportedly ended their relationship due to the former’s busy schedule while taking care of her brother Grayson and niece Chloe. Speaking on her podcast “Unlocked”, the 25-year-old shared that while she had a great time with Smith, the timing wasn’t right. “It was such a great experience. I mean, I have literally nothing to say about him other than having so much respect for him. It was just a tough situation for everyone involved”, Savannah said, adding that there were ways they connected so well.

Savannah cited the fact that her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are currently serving time in prison as the main reason for the hardship, saying, “it’s so hard for anyone to understand the level of trauma that’s going on in my life right now”. The former “Chrisley Knows Best” star raised concerns that she would feel guilty for leaving the kids for Smith’s shows, saying, “there’s no way for me to do it without feeling guilty for leaving the kids. So I have to figure out what a healthy balance is going to be of being able to have a personal life while having the kids and everything else involved”.

Savannah, who got custody of Chloe and Grayson in 2022 after her parents received a combined 19-year sentence for tax evasion and fraud, further declared that the breakup was a “bittersweet” experience. Although she admitted that it is the best thing for their lives, Savannah confessed she fears that Smith might be the one that got away. Prior to dating Nate Smith, Savannah was engaged to hockey player Nic Kerdiles, but they split in 2020. She also opened up about the difficulties of dating with Grayson and Chloe, saying, “it’s just a package deal. ‘You want to go to dinner? These two are coming along with.’”
