Sharon Osbourne revealed she suffered from side effects after taking a weight-loss drug for four months, but has now stopped and is back to eating normally without gaining any weight.
Sharon Osbourne has opened up about suffering from side effects after using a weight-loss medication. During an episode of The Talk in the UK, the former reality star revealed that she felt “nauseous” every day for a couple of months after taking the medication. Although she didn’t specify which drug she used, Osbourne confirmed that she took it for four months and lost 30 pounds.
Despite her success in losing weight, Osbourne noted that “there’s always no quick recipe.” She added that her appetite had returned to normal since she stopped using the medication. Showing off her slimmer frame in London on Friday, Osbourne wore a cornflower blue trouser suit and completed the outfit with a red scarf and white boots.
Osbourne is one of several stars to use weight-loss medication to slim down. Others include Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania and Shahs of Sunset alum Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi. However, some celebrities have cautioned against the drugs, with Bethenny Frankel warning that they can produce negative side effects on people’s moods and personalities.
Osbourne previously underwent gastric band surgery in 1999 but had the band removed in 2006 after reaching her target weight. She is well known for her work as a TV host on various shows, including The Talk and The X Factor.
