Tallulah Willis, daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, refused to be affected by body-shaming trolls on social media. In a recent Instagram post, the 29-year-old fashion designer shared messages from hateful social media users who repeatedly called her “fat” and “cringey.” Willis shared that she is not “dismantled by strangers’ words,” and Moore left a supportive comment, praising her daughter for being herself and keeping her “gorgeous glorious light” shining despite the hate.

Moore wasn’t the only family member to support Willis. Step-mom Emma Heming also left a comment, expressing her support and asking who the hateful commenter was. Sister Scout Willis praised Tallulah for the “hard work” she puts into her recovery every day. Despite the negative messages, Willis remained strong, sharing that this type of behavior on social media “happens too often.”

Willis has been vocal about her struggles with body dysmorphia, eating disorders, sobriety, and depression in the past. In a 2020 interview with Page Six, she shared how fashion helped her find her passion and leave a “swirling loop of fear, of self-deprecation.” Willis credited her momentum of pushing forward to her pursuit of fashion, which gave her an inch of breathing room outside of her personal struggles.

Tallulah is the youngest of Willis and Moore’s daughters. Despite their divorce in 2000, Willis and Moore have maintained an amicable relationship, supporting each other through life’s challenges, including Willis’s recent diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. Tallulah’s refusal to let the negative words of strangers affect her is a testament to her strength and pursuit of self-love.
